Having read the profile got to love the irony.

Seems domestic service is a big thing for you both.

Why is that?

Because you can't clean up after yourselves?

Don't know how to wash clothes? Cook?

Or are you too cheap to get a housekeeper?

Or don't you get responses when you try to recruit a domestic slave?

Because that's the bottom line, isn't it? You both feel so entitled that you think you can waltz into the BDSM community and pick up a freebie domestic slave to keep your home spotless, have sex with and beat when they don't do what you say.

Ok, alright!!!!
I confess!!

I KNEW I would get the comments I got, and I also KNEW that by saying what I said in my op, that I would get the heat I got for it. It comes as no surprise. I was over the top in my critique and observation. I generalized on purpose. But I DID have a tiny point in there.

The funniest part about the whole thing, is that people have just ripped into me, personally. They have even taken shots at my fiance, who has not said a word in this.

And guess what? The vicious responses are doing EXACTLY what they are accusing ME of doing in my op. And they are too blind to see it.
It's political correctness gone nuts.

So, I have no problems with obese people. I have no problem with ugly people, as I am an ugly man myself. ;) And I DEFINITELY do not have a problem with old people, as I am an old man myself.

I wish all of you guys the best, and hope that I've made some people think a little differently than they have become accustomed to thinking.

So this was supposed to be a message to the uninformed masses.

Sorry buddy but it's a HUGE FAIL.

So, not only have they no manners, they've got the cheek to come on here spouting their b/s assumptions when they don't even try to do their own cleaning??
I haven't looked at their profile and I have no intention of doing so, but thank you for pointing that out Stella.

I think I need a lie down...

No back pedal!!

I stand by what I said.

It's funny, but the people who agree with me send me email. Those who don't, post on here.

Then by all means invite them to come and help you fight the good fight. I am sure everyone is dying to meet them.

...Most women we have come across look the same. Nearly ALL of them are moderately to severely overweight, and honestly have looked like they have stopped caring. Hair that isn't styled or attempted to be styled....no makeup....and just looked like they rolled out of bed.

...So, I'm FIGHTING having the feeling that bdsm and the lifestyle are MOSTLY relegated to really old, really fat, and really unattractive people who couldn't get their dog to play with them otherwise.

You'll have to get down to South Florida for an Alter Ego/Fetish Factory party. Lots of bondage barbies there.

Personally, I preferred the BDSM events in Western Massachusetts sponsored by WMPE. We learned a lot from the talented, experienced people there. One 64 year old made a far greater impression on me than all the S FL bondage barbies combined. BTW, everyone at the munches and private and public play parties "made an effort."

I went to a NELA event in Rhode Island last summer and everyone had "made an effort," including one striking 20 something woman I'm still lusting over.

I went to a munch last month and most people looked like they'd come from work.

M says at NELA's Fetish Fair next month everyone will be decked out to the nines.

So OP, if all you are attracting is cat puke, consider the common denominator.

Maybe he's deliberately trying to show her what an ass he is in an attempt to get rid of her because she is letting herself go and gained half a pound.

Is it fair to say that there is a standard for being overweight? Sure there is. Is it fair to say that someone's age is easily calculable? Of course it is.

Then, I have made the OBSERVATION that (through my own experiences) the majority of people in the "community" are older and overweight. That's not by MY standards. It's merely an observation.

So, my question, as shallow as it's been pointed out, is valid.

Based on what I've seen with my own experience, I am making up my own mind. You may not like what I like, and that's cool.

Some people like blond hair. That's fine!! Some people like facial hair, other's don't.

Some people like big, beautiful people....other's don't.

So......my question is......to determine whether I want to be active in a real life community.

I don't prefer obese people to have a sexual relationship with. Does that make me a bad person? NO!!! Sure, what I said was inflammatory, and I've taken back some of the more mean things I said. But....IF the bdsm local community AS A WHOLE is made up of mostly obese, and an older crowd....then as a preference, I would choose not to participate.

To each their own.

What is the percentage of people (on this site in particular) are into bdsm out of necessity?

I'm a bite sized, well coiffed submissive, and I find that being pleasing to him is a necessity
for my joyful, submissive spirit to thrive.
I call that Bringing Da Smiles to my Man.
If you ask him, he'll tell you he prefers that just rolled out of bed look.

There is a thread a bit further down the forum titled Polls and Random Snippets.
If you sincerely want to get mathematical about it, why not start a poll?

And just why exactly are you in the lifestyle?

There was an interesting thread here a while back by a lovely poster named Lockit, that discusses how those
that have such an issue with the overweight and/or unsightly people struggle to be tolerant in other areas of their life.
A man who can't show compassion for others, even for those he is closely interacting with in his community,
isn't someone I could ever come to trust, and certainly not one I would ever defer to.

I did not attack your fiance/wife?.

You can't write that you are ugly: "VERY attractive couple who turn heads everywhere We go", or old (at 38 you have barely graduated out of TNG munches).

As a public service message (that was a cover for your original and embarrassing OP) it was a fail.

I did not attack you personally, but your logic and your manners.

Pretty is as pretty does... .

Yes, OP. The bdsm community as a whole is made up of old obese people. You should get out while you still can and maybe try your local bingo group. I hear that's where the hotties hang.

Does the bdsm lifestyle GENERALLY attract more overweight and older people?

You are aware that the prevalence of overweight or obese in the US is 64%, aren't you? And that the median age is 37 years?

There's another reason the hot, young, bi f sub is called a "unicorn."

From what you've put, it doesn't sound like you have been to every community, so I think you should have put your local community, instead, as you put later on in the post. If you have found that your local community does not offer you enough attractive people to fulfill your fantasies of being in a BDSM porn movie, then I can only suggest you go forth to find another community to find your ideal beautiful people. Bear in mind that said beautiful people might actually find your attitude pretty gross and ugly and tell you to go back where you came from. Just a thought...
