When I was looking, I had been chatting to this local guy online for several weeks.

We met for coffee and I wasn't really convinced it would work for me. No particular reason, just no real spark. But he persuaded me to meet again, and we went for a drink the following Saturday.

We had a pleasant evening and we talked about a lot of stuff. One of the things I told him was that I wasn't going to jeopardise family relationships or my career for kink. I also told him that Sunday afternoons during term time had to be my time because that's when I do my marking, lesson prep etc for the coming week.

Sooooo...next day, he texts me. "Come to my house". Well, at that point I'd also made it clear there'd be no play or sex until I was comfortable with it. And it was Sunday afternoon. So I politely declined and explained why.

The next text said "no sub EVER says no to me! Get here NOW or take the fucking consequences".

So I told him to shove it up his ass and carried on with my day.

Next day he texts me and demands that I come to his house for 'punishment' for my disobedience.

I won't repeat what I told him, but that pretty much ended things

I have enjoyed reading this thread. Its amazing what some guys will say to get laid, or cope with their insecurities. Its amazing what women will say and do because of insecurities also, but they often don't have to try too hard to get sex.

This thread makes me feel almost "normal".

I was very very new, and was at a club that allowed clothed kink. I was receiving a paddling from a male dom friend, and was enjoying myself very much. After we had finished the mini session, he had wandered off to grab me some water and I was standing talking to a friend, when I felt a very painful blow on my lower back. I turned around and there was this woman, who I had never met, holding a paddle. Not only had she not had permission to swat me, but the swat was waaaaay too hard for someone who was new, and unprepared for it, and she missed my rear entirely and hit me in the back. Well in the online search process one encounters a lot of ridiculous behavior. Where to even begin? But at the end of the day, little investment of time and effort on my part for people like that - so I don't spend a lot of time worrying about that aspect either.

In real life, the worst Dominants were those who fundamentally had relationship issues. In other words, it wasn't usually the BDSM aspect that de-railed us. It was other stuff - things that could be part of any vanilla relationship. Can only share my personal experiences, but that's pretty much it.

Every time I get along well with a sub, I make some crack about her losing her Real Sub card when she has other obligations. All of them have gotten the joke.
