actually in an area with a recent history of breakins yeahh it is

twice I had occasion to speak with officers under similar circumstances

once in highschool myself and three others were riding around looking for a girls house in a neighborhood we were unfamiliar with, and an officer pulled us over and asked this and that etc etc etc then told us there had been some recent break ins and us LOOKING AROUND looked like we were casing homes

a second time early in my plumbing career I went to a mans house and he wasn't home yet so I decided to wait for him to get home and while I waited I went to the back of the van to clean things up a bit while I waited.
all of a sudden there was a banging on my van and an officer wanted to know what I was doing, BECAUSE, there had been some break ins in the area and my van just BEING THERE was suspicios

sooo YEAH after dark, person fitting the description of people who had done previous breakins, in the rain, looking around, in an area with a recent history of break ins, ABSOLUTLEY enough to raise suspicion regardless of race!

we'll also note, the 911 operator did not say, nothing suspiscios about a guy walking around in the dark in the area, they seemed to think it was suspiscious enough to send a car to check out

does anyone know the amount of time that passed between the shot being fired and the arrival of the 1st car?

in other words was there a car already en route when the shot was fired, or was a car disapatched only AFTER, another call came in reporting shots fired?

not that I think its actual evicence in the case/trial, but for arguments sake if it was within seconds, meaning they were already enroute it does mean the police took it seriously enough to send a car ASAP rather than treating it as a nusance call

I remember calling the police one time when a car hit my van and told them he is still sitting there, tried to run but his car stalled and he is trying to get it started again, if you hurry you'll catch him, anddd they didn't show up for like 1/2 an hour!

"There have been some break ins in the neighborhood" is the oldest trick in the book when an officer just wants to pull someone over and fuck with them. It's been pulled on me as well.
Where did I learn that?
While teaching advanced hand to hand to some of the SWAT guys, they told me.

not trying to be smart here, and I am SURE you are 100% correct, but how does that apply to this instance

also, why would an officer single someone out using that "excuse" if he didn't suspect something to start with...

Demonstrating that it does happen, but not that it did.

1/4 x 1/8 inch abrasion... not really a cut... to his left (I believe) ring finger. Thats it for the damage to T's hands.

I already suspected that Martin struck down at Zimmerman with his left fist when he was shot. Instead of hitting Zimmerman after he was shot, that left fist may have hit the pavement with some force, causing that abrasion. (I am speculating here.)

good point, for all we know that happened when Z pushed M off and his hand struck something as he fell away
OR its even possible when M was running to get way, his hand grazed some hard surface an caused it well before the encounter

completely within the realm of possibillity the cut on M's hand wasn't caused by contact with Z in any way!

unless you contact teeth I don't see a face causing a cut of any kind!

I would consider you very unusual. Then again, I have put my fist through a window... bruised and cut.... through sheet rock... bruised... My brother has punched wood beams... broken hand. Thats the typical results.

Then the whole argument about T punching Z in the head falls by the wayside. Repeated punches to a hard surface, yes, the head is hard, will result in at least bruising. None was found.

How do you account for
A Zimmerman's injuries
B Eye witness who saw Martin on top hitting him.

You had better rethink that conclusion, for something eludes you.

Are you here asserting that Martin can only have been hitting Zimmerman and have been sitting atop Zimmerman, after Zimmerman shot Martin?

There was another guy who had the same result as me and he hit a brick wall. So while it may not be the norm it isn't beyond the realm of possibility either. Sheet rock and particularly glass would most likely tear my hand up too. Maybe I know more about how to punch than your brother, maybe Martin did too.

I wouldn't go that far, but I also don't see the cut on his hand as real proof of anything without dna or some supporting evidence

I am SURE the defense will not agree but that's how I see it

I don't know enough about martian's phisyology to know if he bruises easily or not

I had a girl who I used to whip often an hard, and NEVER anything more than a red spot on her and I am talking about striking tender parts not hands. within 20 minutes you'd never know she was struck at all
on the other hand my ex wife, if you just pressed against her skin hard it would leave a bruise

You're absolutely correct there. I was just pointing out a very popular tactic used by the very small minority of the LEO community that is more concerned with pushing people around than actually doing anything constructive.

An abrasion on his hand, while you had none, tells me he didnt.

well the injuries to Z's head, regardless of wether you content they were serious enough to be life threathening or not, have to be explained SOMEHOW! from a medical point of view

No, I'm not contending anything about Z. Where did you see that?

I was simply referring to your experiences while riding around and again while you were working as a professional and awaiting a client.

They stopped you to mess with you. Period.
"are you saying they just get bored and "shake down" random people?" Not random people, people who are young and/or poor and are the most likely to be intimidated.
Do I say it happens. Absolutely.
There's a small subset of the LEO community that just enjoys pushing people around. That's why they got the badge in the first place.

According to accounts on these threads, there was at least 4 punches thrown. Only one hand was injured. I account that as the one to the nose.

No one has yet to explain how the swelling went down within a few short hours.

Do you know?
