Just because it is not your thing does not demean the value of it to someone else.

You keep presuming. I said it was wrong for me, I never told anyone else not to.

Uhhh.....I *was* hoping for a group hug moment.  Not just yet I guess.

I guess when people quit trying to make the topic about me, we'll have one.

Wow .... I'm not sure which post to reply to here

IMPO ... I repeat- this is just my opinion based on MY life experience-
We make our lives what they are... we alone choose how to handle the things that life throws at us.
Baggage? .. absolutely!! we ALL have some sort of baggage, it's where and how we choose to unpack it that makes all the difference. I didn't have a storybook childhood, but that is MINE to deal with..... I dealt with it.  I needed to take responsibility of my own sanity and not let the past OR the people involved in it control me any longer.

It's not where you've been, rather where you're going that counts ... how nice would it be if we could actually live those words? *smiles*

~enthralled ...  (who is finished rambling and returns everyone to thier regularly scheduled threads)

I'm hardly a harpy, I am very wise in the workings of humanity--tsk tsk tsk, struck a chord?  So you bitched, got the attention you sought--heard what you did or didn't want to hear---clean the clubs, the sun is out and the foursome is waiting.

There's no point in continuing this, if you just want to rag on me.

i am not precisely sure why you think you are being 'ragged' on... the title of this thread says it all... "Get over it!"

I know, isn't it?

What does that say about how we manage relationships?

cuddleheart... it wasn't 'what he said'... it was the way in which it was said.

And that excuses the way it was reacted to, how?
