And in that article, the Pentagon says we're not out of weapons to send, disputing any such claims.

But of course, the Pentagon would say that. Even if all we had was a piece of Juicy Fruit to throw at them, the Pentagon wouldn't make that public, for our enemies to pick up on. So who knows? But we aren't sending our best stuff to Ukraine, probably a few generations of tech behind.

Our military is still fully equipped, ready for war on at least 3 fronts. Ever since WW2, we have come to expect it. And as Dubya said, it's better to fight em over there than over here.

Now this thread has gone of the rails, bashing Obama and talking about Syria. None of which has to do with Biden's new policies on China. Actually, the new policies seem more "America First" than anything Trump did. No wonder Bosco doesn't want to talk about it.

And Biden has stayed out of the Trump case, as far as I know. It's the DOJ that may indict Trump.

The state of the political forums is really sad. We start threads to begin debate. But there is no more debate. No response to the issue at hand. Just endless off topic "FR's".

And the FR's are getting farther and farther off topic.... Now they are quotes of some moron's twitter feed.

This thread is about Biden's policy in China:

1. The first American President to tell China DIRECTLY that we would militarily protect Taiwan
2. The first President to allocate $$$ to build chip manufacturing IN the US
3. The first President to actively slow China's chip manufacturing and worldwide sales

BOTTOM LINE
If there is political discussion here, I am in.
Over the past month or so, I have seen no political discussion. I will monitor now and then, but sans any actual discussion of the issue in the thread, I see no reason to participate.

Biden has no control over oil demand, and only has control of 10% of oil leases for production, (of which thousands of leases are available and are not being developed) The rest are on private land. The previous administration dod absolutely NOTHING while oil production declined sharply.

In that obviously biased article, there is nowhere that shows Biden taking credit for anything. Even the tweet they're bitching about. Nowhere shown does Biden say how prices went down, or why, just that they did.

My point is... We lost our potential for energy independence, as measured by oil exports VS imports during the significant drop in oil production during the Trump Administration. When the demand came back up during the Biden Administration, many wells had already been closed. Many explore-only oil companies had gone out of business, Goodbye enerhy independence.

I am not sure you see the absolute supidity of that article. It quotes a Biden tweet, and says he was mocked for claiming credit for falling gas prices, while the EXACT quote shown in the article, lacks any indication of him taking credit for anything.
