i honestly believe this thread is a unanswerable question .
each person finds different people attractive ,im 38 and have a good body but the dommes who are 30 and below may be repulsed by the older guy .also visa versa and older domme may not imagine they could get a younger sub .i do get a lot of play but i believe its because im a nice guy not because i have muscles ,im always polite and love to laugh .
personality goes along way in my book and im guessing im not the only one .
yes people need to be phyicly atracted to you ,or theres no way it will work as a relationship ,but in just play i dont think its that important ,as its usually your arse their hitting and looking at lol.

No, sometimes it's just about the guy being a huge handsome pile of beef. You play horsey with him for an hour or two, send him on his way, and have a laugh about it with your friends. Shallow sexual interaction tends to work this way, in my experience. However, the minute some other man opens his mouth and says something particularly intelligent or interesting--my interest in the pretty boy evaporates pretty much instantly.

i generally find the pretty boys, or the extremely good looking guys - to be way more shallow then i can cope with. Also highly immature. Generally they invoke a desire to kick them in the gonads to bring them back to earth response. Guys that can hold their own is always nice.

i'm suprised about the sissy thing. I'm always hearing about Domme's who want to turn male subs into girls. Thought that was the norm actually.

Doesn't anybody "hot" usually get the action?

I'd rather be with a woman who doesn't look "hot" but knows what "hot" really is.

In other words, action speaks louder than looks...or...beauty is in the eye of the beholder....or is that truth, or love, or something like that....one size fits all....

Here's two examples. Stallone and Fabio. Both are delicious looking..until they open their mouths to speak. This is a complete turn off to me.

If there isn't an element of class, intelligence or refinement.. they can expect bupkis.

I'm finding it funny that it seems that many think the concept of a good looking male sub who is also intelligent, has great social graces and a great personality is impossible to find. Just look around at who posts here in the boards. There are a lot that fit this description quite nicely. They gain their attention on this side through their words, not their pics. And I find them to be a pretty nice group.

I've found two here through CM.

And actually, my aesthetic sense is just part of who I am. How a submissive looks is simply one piece of who they are, and what they can offer...and vice-versa, of course.

I agree. I would have to say all the males that have contacted me have been witty, congenial and pretty much sincere in what they seek. Some do stand out among the others. Too bad I'm not looking :/

I second that Lotus... the males I correspond with are people I wouldn't mind meeting in person & having some sort of friendship with (assuming they're not cleverly disguised whack-jobs... lol). Now, if there were only female subs/switches too.... *heaves a big sigh*... but, I'm not looking either, so... meah.

It's certainly an appealing idea. Personally I've found that conventional prettiness and depth of character rarely go together in either sex. I could go into the likely reasons for this, but it's probably more important to point out that this rule, like any other, has many exceptions. ;)

Also, when I become interested in someone's heart and mind, he or she tends to become more beautiful in my eyes--to an exponential degree. Some people are so remarkable that they have a tendency to re-shape my ideals of beauty entirely. After I get to know them I often find myself out in the world seeking other humans who share that beauty, simply because I am so delighted that I've learned to see it.

Looks aren't that important to me. There are many other things I'd rather have, and I find a lot of typically-attractive men lack certain personality traits that I like. Luckily I actually LIKE some physical traits that aren't the standard draw. It could be rather nice if a guy I fell for happened to be a typically-attractive guy though.

I'm glad that many Dommes go for the younger boytoys, because then I have more mature men to choose from.

I enjoy somewhat-androgynous people, and am seeking a trans/CD/gender queer who has the right combo of masculine & feminine. Attraction is a complex thing. I hope I find the right mix/balance.

Just to toss it out there for discussion ... I think attractiveness in men does help their situation (naturally a lot of other factors apply - your milage may vary).

But I think another strong factor in holding the attention of many women is the size of their ....

.... wallet.

Before the angry and/or contrary posts start ... I am not talking about you! I am talking about many other women on the site (pro or not)

Caliber, age is only a barrier if you make it one. Bill Clinton, an ex US president, who would have had to have believed in himself to make it in politics, had an affair with a woman in her early twenties even though he would have been in his fifties.

Morrigel, were you really attracted to the athlete guy that you talked about because of his body? Or was it because he had the personality to make it in something as fiercely competitive as professional sport? I was on the footy team in high school one year, several friends of mine play professionally, and I've always been involved in one sport or the other and the average sportsman would have had an above average personality, it helped to function in a team environment. The whole "dumb jock" stereotype isn't true for the majority. In other words would you still think he was "hot" if he got around like an nerd/emo/geek/insert adjective here even though he had the body?
