OK I am a bit mystified by this post......Are you saying that older people shouldn't look for younger partners/those to play with? I hope not, I mean I may prefer those who are close to my age, but I certainly will not sit in judgement of someone who dates/plays with another who is older/younger. If someone out of my age range does write to me( or out of area, etc.) I simply write a polite responce saying I am not interested.  Though cannot help getting alittle perturbed when it is OBVIOUS that they have not read my profile!

Hmmm... the profile translates as "Look at what you're never going to get"...

... the OP comes across as "I need more cheese to go with all this whine"...

... and the follow-up posts refuse to acknowledge any room for error on her part.

I'm sorry but, to me, this just screams ASWS... Attention Seeking Whore Syndrome... and the garish post font does nothing to alter that impression.

As earlier posters have pointed out, if you're not looking you edit your profile to reflect that. To do otherwise just invites men to mail in. To then complain about those people whose only fault is that they're not mind readers, strikes me as not just unfair, but "asking for it"... it just makes me think of driving along the highway in a clunker of a station wagon, and seeing a cop at the roadside writing a speeding ticket for some flash guy driving an expensive sports car, that they're getting what they deserve.

I'm in the "old" dom group *lol* and I have not messaged you.  It may seem that every dom here has rudely messaged you, but I suspect it's just a rude fraction.

I can't imagine why anyone over 35 would write to you if that is made clear in your profile.  If so they are rude.  I recommend hitting the block button, but others suggest mail parameters and if the parameters are listed in the profile such as 'not interested if over 35" I wouldn't consider that insensitive or rude.  I think that an upper limit of 2x your age is quite rational and a good upper limit.

As an afterthought "old" is quite variable these days.  In my practice I see 25 year old men and women who have 8 times the risk of a cardio-vascular incident (heart attack) and 12 times the risk of a cerebrovascular incident (stroke) than I do.  In short I see 25 year old men and women whose bodies are in far worse shape than what I would expect from the average 50 year old person. Just an afterthought, not criticism...

Enjoy the tranquility that setting mail limits give you...

That's just like the two or three e-mails i get askng if i'd consder a sub and i'm submissive. <rolles eyes> Just ingore the e-mails.

i much prefer older Dom's.  Most of them are more mature and know what the heck their doing.  i think most of my Dom's that i've have been at least 10 years older then me.

Hey hey, no vanilla bashing.  I've had tons of vanilla sex that was far more satisfying than with a lot of dominants or submissives.

nope, it's not just you over 35ers :P my hair is really short, but if it isn't tangled from being pulled so much, or sticky from cum, i have to stop and wonder if i've actually even been having sex at all, hehehe! and i want kyra's quote on a shirt as well, rofl.

but back to the issue of dating older...from the comments made by koukei and jadedancer on this thread, i'm almost scared to think what opinions are being formed about people in my age range. rest assured, older dominants, we don't ALL think that way...at least, i don't!

I look at 99% of the male profiles onhere and think serial killer. sad but true. Its how they portray themselves and then get upset when they cant get whatthey want.

How many do I actually have to "off" in a given period of time to qualify as a "serial killer", as opposed to say... occasional killler... or serial maimer who occasionally kills by accident... or.... maybe this isn't the right venue to be discussing this.  Please strike all that from the record.

John

*Laughs!!*  John i think it's only two as long as it's consecutive not concurrent, but all in the same day is called "spree" killer.  Wow i watch way too much CourtTV.
