ORIGINAL: RosaB Um could some of you women, please, go see it first and let me know what ya all thunk? LOL. I intend to see it in the theater. I'll post my opinion after I see it. As for the CGI in it, I dont really mind if the intent is to capture the feel of a graphic novel. In fact I like seeing the different ways people treat film depiction of graphic novels. I also happen to agree with you, the trailers look wonderful. I also am a fan of Gerard Butler, the male lead. When I saw the first preview I thought "ya know, he's pretty ripped when he wants to be, but that's gotta be CGI or a suit or something" as he looked not only ripped but big. Then I watched a 'making of' type trailer on apple.com/trailers and realized that dude just bulked up for the movie. He looked good in the Lara Croft movie he was in, but he didn't have the mass he's got in this movie. He was the only reason to watch Timeline. I didn't know it was going to be released to imax. I may have to hunt an imax theater up for this one.
