Is it? Maybe you're underestimating people. Maybe it's nothing whatsover to do with the perceived group conformity of political correctness (ironically, people flock to yell "PC", rather than discuss the point being laid before them).

I'm not a Dom, but honestly I couldn't do this. Having grown up with a racist parent who I learned to see as a monster for this and many other beliefs and actions, it's just something I abhor personally and it goes against so many things I hold dearly to do it. I know, it's silly, because it's what the other person desires, but it's just the way I am. I see other posters saying the same thing for similar reasons. I however, wouldn't reject someone for wanting it, as long as it wasn't their thing and it would make them unhappy for not doing it, but I couldn't do it and would explain that to them.

Being reluctant to use the N word is not the same as having fear......its only makes sense they would hesitate to use a word that is linked to so much hate...its not the same as using other racial slurs in "America" ..its kinda like the N word is the BIG ONE .......but I guess a white man using the N word isnt much different than a blk person having a slave or being a slave.....*something to think on isnt it?* ....

Very good point Mya75. Very well said. And I appreciate the fact that even though we don't see eye to eye, you are able to express your opinion without being rude. :)
And gurrrrrl....the whole black people owning slaves should be a a thread of it's own! lol

Ha-ha lol ..maybe next week once I get the umph!..but I will post it on my journal....I have always had an issue with it and within myself as well that is why I am submissive but I could easily be a slave if I didnt have this little thing inside me saying its bad....but as humans we are drawn to whats forbidden and taboo....I understand totally how its a turn on for you and can totally relate....

Yeah, maybe to you, fair enough.

To me, I wouldn't take it on. I don't dispute your claim that you have loads of interests....one trick ponies aren't that common.......but, on balance, I'd pass (for the reason stated in a previous post).

I felt the little poke at me personally was rude. But then again, i shouldn't be suprised, these boards are full of people taking personal stabs at others for no reason.

Ok. If I misunderstood you, then i apologize. When you said....If she checked every box on the list but this one, i still woudln't be interrested....i took that as a "poke". Almost right.

a) She wouldn't be for me.
b) Not being for me doesn't equate to damaged goods.
c) I think we'd be on two different levels of thinking which would make the situation difficult.

I guess my personal viewpoint is this: I don't say things to my girls that I noramlly wouldn't say in every day life. I don't have a "scene" Kevin and a "non-scene" Kevin. I'm the same person. I don't call black people niggers in my every day life and so won't do it in the dungeon. Even if requested I don't think I could bring myself to do it. I would feel like I'm betraying a part of who I am.
