This could obviously become one of those threads where people tell you to be more open about what you are looking for. I'll address that if it happens. My post is a bit of a rant and a complaint but I assure everyone that I am okay with the facts as they are and will work with them, as I do with any situation that is not ideal.
I am looking for a slave in the 30 to 40 age group. I of course will relax those preferences if a person meets a number of other requirements. In the state of Florida there are a grand total of 2 slaves willing to relocate that are active on CM (Signed on in the last 6 months). Neither would be a good fit in any remote sense. I have my search settings set for the U.S. Only and ALL states and the person must be relocatable. I have also set my age range from 26-42 to give myself breathing room. I am 37, a bit of a fitness freak and very settled and comfortable with myself and therefore have limits on who and what I am looking for largely affected by those requirements.
I am not sure if Florida is unique, I imagine not, but the only thing I can think of is this is an age range affected, as a whole, by things like family, career, significant relationships, etc. To be perfectly honest I would rather start relationship so I could knock off the search, but I have been looking for quite some time and will continue until I feel I am not settling. I am from Florida, born here, and there is a mentality among the natives that is not for me. I can find plenty, too many, waaaaaay too many women HERE willing to take a free ride, most with an eye out for someone with more to offer (read $$). I believe I may understand why wealthy men chase women that would not fit in their social circles. I always thought (HA!) that making a great income, being reasonably good looking and having a stable lifestyle would appeal to a large majority of women, here* it has not been enough. According to a few women that I have asked why that is, they say, everyone has money, not everyone is willing to spoil them. I am not willing to spoil anyone. My hearing and seeing the evidence that this was true had me quickly give up on the concept of converting a vanilla. Back to the search for a lifestyle oriented slave...
A quick bit of clarification. I have been doing WIITWD for a really long time and 'weathered' enough to not be some person that is an idealist looking for a perfect person. I have relatively relaxed ideas of what I am looking for with a very few very strict requirements. An example that seems to be a popular pissing point is that I am very fit and spend a few days a week in the gym and would not be interested in someone without that interest. This is one thing I do not want to force on someone, though the sadist in me thinks that would be fun at times. 
This post is all over the place this morning. I apologize for that. I will address any comments and clarify as required. Usually when my posts don't flow well I just delete them. This one kinda hit close to home.
