i have a dom friend who has an issue with one of his fetishes that he can't seem to get his head round. Sooooo i thought i would ask what everyone else thought.

The problem is this. He is a dominant male, but he loves to worship women's feet; on the surface it would appear to be somewhat of a paradox. However, i have told him that he should be able to do this with a sub female as he is the boss and therefore should get what he wants. i figured that if it humiliated her, or made her uncomfortable then so much the better lol!

Not sure if he'll take my opinion on board, so what does everyone else reckon?

However, it now transpires that he wants them to be turned on by it as much as he..... *sighs* some doms are never happy lol!

There's nothing wrong with that. women are beautiful, sexy, and you're whole body is worth the attention. A sub of Mine was uncomfortable initially when we met as some actions she considered to be submissive behavior, usually those that made her climax. I pointed out that I'd damn well do what I wanted outside of her hard limits. There are no absolutes in this. As long as he is in control, and his sub can feel his control there isn't a problem.

I very briefly saw a Dom who was way into feet. He would TELL me "wear this color of nail polish" and "wear those shoes" etc, so even though he was worshipping my feet, he TOLD me exactly how he wanted them to be so He was still very Dom about the whole thing. Maybe your Dom friend could try that?

Seriously? Most males love the female foot. It's why they like the high heels. I see it as a male thing, not a dom/sub thing.

To the OP: Have your friend tell his sub to use her feet to get him off. Very accepted dom behavior, and if he needs to "prepare" the feet, so much the better.

Makrieth answer is perfect. As a Dom you decide what you will do. As a Master you control the situation and educate your sub leading her to what you decide if it is reachable. Noone has the right to tell you what is relevant and what is not. It's between the Master and the sub.

A man kissing a womans foot is symbolic of "worshipping". If I were a woman sub, I would be way too uncomfortable with a man kissing and adoring my feet unless he was submitting to me.

Sissy, that's your perspective. If this dominant male had a partner who hated having her feet touched, then him kissing them would be a sadistic act, not a worshipful one. If his partner got turned on be having her feet kicked, then this would be an act designed to arouse her and make her ready for sex, not a worshipful one. The intent matters.

In this case, the intent is to get him turned on since he loves playing with women's feet. He isn't into worshipping them, he's into using them as part of foreplay to make sex better.

I don't need you to tell me that's my perspective. I know it is and having a man adore my feet when he is the dominant one is odd. My feet are the lowest part of my body, the dirtiest and having a man kiss and lick them is too close to worshipping my feet.

I will admit that neither of us would be interested unless the feet were clean.

But having had him tie me up and then lift my bound legs up so he could lick my feet, tickling them, did not at all appear to me that he was worshipping them. I was sputtering threats I was not at all in a position to make good on but I meant them anyway.

And when he started nibbling on my toes all I could think was how impossibly turned on I was, and how I was just going to have to wait till he untied my legs.

But one thing I have noticed is that people are never indifferent to their feet. Lots of people hate having theirs touched. And another big group find them a major erogenous zone.
