Status: offline 		For some, myself included, the idea of a younger sub is appealing because in a long-term relationship the desire for a family may have a part in that search.  A girl in her late 20s to very early 30s allows us to have time to get to know and enjoy each other's company before starting a family.  I have few qualms about starting a family in my late 40s because it's something I want.  (My own father was 49 when I was born and 51 when my sister came along) 

Everyone has a reason for the people they choose to be with.  Age, looks, personality, kink, orientation, etc. are unique to each individual and each relationship.

Status: offline 		To me age isnt that much of a factor, by late 20's the sub is mature enough to be a submissive woman. It takes maturity to establish the trust, and willful surrender of a submissive. So, for me.. its late 20's and up.

I think its more to do with having a trophy sub... so he can show her around to the rest of the gang knowing that they will all be jealous of what it is he has got.  They do seem to forget that someine of this age range is usually rather emotionally immature and with that comes a whole host of problems... but their midlife crisis can only see this nubile young thing before him.... so while they are good for a bit of fun these relationships tend not to last for 101 very obvious reasons.

Plus you get the old guys who are simpy sexual preditors... they think the new young girl on the block will be easy pickings and he can fill her with bull shit before the others try to get their mitts on her.... you see it here all the time.... young newbies who are under consideration within a week of joining the site..... its quite sad really.... not least as these guys think doing it under the guise of D/s makes it ok to do.... but hey its ok as she's cute.... honestly these guys serioulsy need to get a life, a real one away from the computer screen.

The availability of young girls that want older men also plays a big factor in this. Personally, I've yet to meet a 40-something man that looks as good as someone my own age, but it's the other qualities that they possess which then turns me on. It takes a special older gentleman to entice me.
