In fact, many things take place without fanfare. Prior to reach this place I would have inquired about his preference on how it's addressed. My partners are typically more protocol oriented and prefer to initiate in certain situations. When I reached the point of readiness I would adhere to what was said. In terms of what follows my behavior wouldn't change. Rather than doing I envelope a quietness and listen attentively to him.
