So, what I am discussing has been brought up previously by others (men and women). Instead of contemptuously dismissing an idea, why not at least talk about it? OR --- if it is a violation of TOS to want to improve this website so that GENUINE people can find each other --- then perhaps the caption on the homepage here should be changed?? Genuine people find each other on here all the time. I found Master, and there are many, many couples on here who met on cm. The difference between them and you is perspective and perserverance. When they 'met' someone online and it didn't translate into real life, they moved onwards and upwards. They didn't allow it to eat away at them and colour their view of online dating. In the end, it's just pixels on a screen. YOU are just pixels on a screen until someone chooses to meet you in real life. Once you get it all into perspective I promise things will improve and you will be a happier person.

This has NOTHING whatsoever to do with me having a "lack of success here". You obviously DO NOT understand my point. This is not "sour grapes" from me. I have successfully "met" several very interesting people here....BUT what I am saying is that it is very frustrating to deal with so many fakes and liars. Incidentally, I have noticed profiles where people are listing the names of fakes and liars they have dealt with here. In other words, they use their profile to warn people about them. I have had the exact same experience with a couple of the names listed. However, I did not see that information until AFTER I went through the same experience. And I am sincerely HAPPY for you. But, again, this has NOTHING to do with my personal qualities of perspective and perserverance. You guys are making this into a PERSONAL matter. I am bringing this up simply to trigger a discussion about how to make this website more useful and productive for EVERYBODY -- regardless of their personal patience or perspective or perserverance. NOBODY rational expects to meet their soul-mate within 5-10 minutes. Everyone knows that "online dating" is a very time-consuming experience. Often, one types thousands of words -- and one asks and answers the same questions over and over again. So who decides who is genuine? Why should a person be deemed fake simply because as you said "they don't a pic" - maybe they do not want to send one to Dom A but do send one to Dom B, so what? And so what if they don't give their messenger ID, why should they straight away? I am seeking a play partner, does that mean i consider everyone that messages me wanting to play? HELL NO - does that make me a fake?

Well, the difference between you and I is this: I am not passive. I do not believe in the "grin and bear it" method of problem-solving. Sorry you're not getting the answers and support you want for your idea, but some of us respect the rules on this FREE site. What you want is against them. Create your own site and make up your own rules and all the fake lists you want. Here it is not allowed and the profiles you mentioned naming names get reported when found and that content is deleted.

This has been done to death, there is even a sticky about why CM does not allow blacklists - If you raise a topic that has been done till its dead then thrashed some more, that there are stickys about and expect people to want to talk about it all over again you will most likely be out of luck here.

Chances are if she raises the question that has already been answered lots of times and that there is a sticky about then yep, people most likely will be dismissive.

No. That does not make sense at all. For it to make sense, one would have to assume that all those 'fakes and liars' are not actually people at all, but elaborate AI programs.
