I've never spanked a perfectly shaped political view or applied clamps to a pert set of moral values.

Everyone has standards.  Am I too picky or are some people too indiscriminant?  It's all subjective.

There is this new fangled invention that has recently been released...It is called a scale. From what I have read that this device can measure one's weight in a rather accurate fashion.  Lawdy, Lawdy what willl they think of next?

I don't date the chicks with heft.  They might be fun to hang out with or to provide some much needed nourishment in case of some sort of an apocalyptic nightmare scenario...Other than that I am going to have to pass.

it is not that the large and lovely cannot be beautiful on the inside...It is just that "the inside" is hard to spot when I am waking up in the morning and you are bending over to pick up a the paper.

Anywhoooo, I would like to find someone that is as attractive on the exterior as they are on the inny.  It's not impossible. It's not that the fugly or the chubs have the market cornered on decency.

Men are pretty visually stimulated. I know I am. I keep myself in check, I expect the same from my partner.

Through sickness and health but not through thickness without wealth.

Very honestly I have no stereotypes in looking for submissive men. Beautiful is really in my eyes of the beholder. I have grown up a lot. I know what I am looking for even if it's almost impossible to define. It is how they talk and deport themselves, what they write and the tone. It's honest and real submission that gets me.
I think your question was about overweight or thin "pretty" or not -  I have moved beyond that. I have physical and mental turn offs - they are unique to that individual. I do like shy geeks. I am the one who needs to attracted not GQ.

I prefer subs who are slender to medium. That's my preference, that's what turns me on, but I realize that this is politically incorrect in the minds of some people. On the other hand, FOR DECADES women have complained that I lack a sculpted chest and biceps. They prefer bodybuilders. Why can't we respect each other's preferences?

My Master likes really shmall ones.  I think it just depends on the Dom you're asking, for real.  I would assume there are some "chubby chasers" out there.

Personally, I have to say that there is a good middle road on this issue, at least for me.  I look for two things when I am seeking a potential slave.  1.  The right mental headspace to be a slave (otherwise, why even bother with her), and 2.  that she is in good physical shape for her stature.  Some women are built a bit different; which means that some girls are at the proper weight for their build at 150, and some are at 100lb.  It isn't the overall weight that is the defining factor, it is the overall picture that they present.  A slave is supposed to be pleasing to her Master, whatever that means.  If she is not physically and mentally pleasing to Him, then He should not have chosen her.  Everyone is different in their tastes.  The above is mine.  BTW, that is to say what I seek for a life partner, not a play partner.  I will play with a girl who isn't perfect, as long as her mental take on the lifestyle is fitting to my own.

A woman's height and weight are very important to me. I don't care how great a person they are inside, or how serious their commitment to serve is, I have to be physically attracted to them for starters.

It was worth reading the last page of this resurrected thread to read domiguy's post again. I miss that guy.

Not attracted to skinny men/women.  height weight proportionate...as long as I'm comfortable when I hug them and not feel likei'm hugging myself...thats a good start.
I find a curvaceous or healthily voluptuous woman very attractive...much more attractive than my shape actually...and even though I like to touch a nice six pack and go gaga for a bit...thats about as far as it goes.  and they HAVE to be taller ....somene above 5'9 will get my attention.

I may be shallow but as SireKane said, "I don't care how great a person they are inside, or how serious their commitment to serve is, I have to be physically attracted to them for starters. ".  Once we get past the eye candy....who they are inside counts as much outside.

I think what worth does it have if what you want is what the society have sort of layed up on you?  Im thinking here so many choose one or other standards because its not what THEY really want, deep inside, but what society,tv,magazines, other ppl´s pressure. And when they reach deep down in themselves, might be because of bdsm- they discover their mistake. But of course everyone can choose what they prefer, but its not what Im talking about here. So many men dont dare to date or even be seen with chubbier subs because they dont dare. I think all weigh are fine Im more detail based.

No, deep down inside I really do not like females that have extra weight on them. Has nothing to do with what society says. I also do not like blondes. These are called preferences, and everyone has them.

If someone wants to serve me, non sexually, fully clothed, their gender or appearance doesn't matter at all.

If they want something of a sexual nature, they have to be sexually attractive to me. What that is, is too difficult to explain ...........again and again and again.

Sir has no preference when it comes to size.  He said it doesn't matter as long as the sub has a great personality and her heart is in the right place.  I'm glad because I'm a big girl and we're extremely happy together.

Looks matter to me.  As well as what's inside.  I don't think it's an either-or situation.

As it's been said by nearly all, we all have some sort of preference.  I'm the kind that likes ALL women, but I don't lust after women that look like choir-boys.  My personal preference are for shapely women, but I will not judge anyone by their looks or their weight.  We as people will have learned responses to certain features of certain people due to past experiences...someone will remind you strongly of someone in your past and you may react towards that person with a pre-disposed behavior of like or dislike based on the prior experience.  Can't be helped... human nature.  We try to consciously rationalize that though this person looks like someone from our past, they are NOT that person and should probably be given a chance.  Human nature can listen to reason, though sometimes it gets lost along the way.

To judge someone solely on their appearance or weight, is to generalize them, or categorize them without really getting to know them.  Beauty is skin-deep, but I have known those where this was all there was... and underneath was pure ugly straight to the bone.  Being beautiful doesn't guarantee someone is beautiful throughout.  If you think looks are that important, then there will be a time when YOU are going to be passed along due to your looks.  And though you may not know it
directly ...it's probably ALREADY has happened to you by some superficial shallow individual.  The real shock is when you find out that this standard you hold onto others, can be held to you as well personally.  Will you be offended?  Hurt?  Does it matter?  If it goes around, it comes around.

Those that cling onto youth by only hanging out with age-inappropriate others, that's not a good thing either.  Yes you can look thinner by making friends with people fatter than you.... You can't really look younger though if you only choose 18-yr. olds when you are in your second childhood late 30's or 40's or even past that.  Again that is a preference, but if doing this you think makes you look younger, and not out of love, then that is sadly pathetic.  Next thing you know, you'll be sporting a speedo thinking that it makes you look more buff (as long as you squint from focusing in on that pooch you're sucking in).

Of course those that require changes due to health matters should consider that in a healthy manner.  If what is happening is not healthy, then work on it, and be healthy.  It isn't a matter about beauty at that point, it's about living and setting a higher standard and comfort level of the living standard on a personal basis.

I know it may sound silly, but try applying that "golden rule" stuff in this:  "Judge unto others as you would have them judge unto you..."  And if you think those that are overweight or such are not in control of their lives or something like that, try looking at the anorexic model like person killing herself to look like what the fashion industry has dictated her to look like when it's not real.  That stereotype has damaged more women and skewed what the male population feels is hot.  There's a lot of normal women  that wouldn't muster past the "beauty standard" bar that is set by some, that are PLENTY HOT.  And if a woman is feeling good about herself, that means more to her and those around her, which is a beautiful thing indeed.  If you are comfortable with youself, then others are comfortable with you...that is what matters.

I am far more interested in personality and enthusiasm than looks.

That isn't to say that there aren't certain physical traits that I find more attractive than others.  It just means that those things fall much farther down the hierarchy than the really important things.

I believe that if you only base your judgement on shallow standards youre going to get it back, sooner or later   preferences is okay, but I dont think it is healthy to only focuse on them either, note,I said ONLY. I believe in balance.. also in that case,as well as all other.
