About your quandry regarding Domiguy. Many of us (girls and boys, d-types and s-types) are familiar with Domi. I see you are not. Domi likes to get attention... *any* attention, good or bad. His favourite sport is calling dommes cunts, even though it's clear he respects and would like to "get it on" with some of those "cunts". Vulgarity is his fetish. "Come to Domiguy" is another trademark line. Domi stirs up the other forums too, not just Ask A Mistress. Sometimes he's quite accurate in his views and he has a sense of humour too, but the presentation usually lacks grace. Despite his quick wit and razor sharp "to the point" style of writing, on many occasions Domi is just a bully. It doesn't matter whether you're male or female, on the top or on the bottom, Domi will target you. It gets a bit old so I treat his posts the way I do pop radio... occasionally there's a song I enjoy, but most of the time the music is noisy and repetitive so I switch to other stations.

Side note: Domi's math skills aren't that great so he likes to deal with small numbers and straightforward calculations. You know... +1, -1... that sort of thing. :-)

I do think that most of the people out here are not worth my time. Dommes head the list. So damaged, so dumb. Very few migrate out of this section of CM because they are not well received out in the open air. Ever notice that? Their shit barely makes a marginal impact inside of these walls.

Am I an internet bully, maybe? I always felt a kinship with "internet prick". I don't really try and push people around. I will make fun of them. More prickish than bullying. But use what you will. Happiness is so hard to obtain and fleeting, grasp at what you can.

I dig people that are sharp. I like those that have the ability to form an intelligent opinion and possess the ability to defend it. That frikin' rocks!!

You both replied one after the other so I'll put everything together. I'm well aware VC can't be bullied. :-) About the Interent, yeah... sometimes it's hard to tell what people are about underneath their posts. I'll admit, Domi defines the word "enigma" and I think he likes it that way. I tend to enjoy people who are at least occasionally graceful. Vulgarity has its place and can certainly be used to convey passion. But gee... when every post is an attack, a one-upmanship, a "look at me, look at me" cry for attention... as I said, it gets a bit old. I do enjoy Domi's posts from time-to-time though... you know, when he's not being entirely offensive.

So gee... that was a very well thought response to my earlier slam dunk. You read well between the lines to get the spirit of what I was writing and you realized it wasn't actually a "slam dunk". So what's with all the negativity? Do you really think women like being called cunts? Yes, when I was a dominant, some (I underline some, not all) of my partners enjoyed phrases along the lines of "crawl over here now you slutty cunt". That's a little different and I also chose this context with certain people with whom I knew it would have a positive effect. A lot of the time you're just outright rude and offensive to women (and sometimes to men too). What's the point? What are you trying to get out of your approach?

Here's a few examples:

"I do think that most of the people out here are not worth my time." (Negative )

"Dommes head the list." (Negative )

"So damaged, so dumb." (Negative )

Do you realize that in many cases your "entertainment" is at other people's expense? I encourage you to look up the meaning of the phrase "Internet Bully". You're on the edge of this and I don't think you want to be.

Domi can come off as abrasive; however, I mostly find him humorous. Call me a sadist, I find it amusing when he pushes buttons and people get overly offended. I am not typically offended by him because I've never felt his words applied to me personally. How could they? He doesn't know me. I honestly think those who get overly upset by his postings may feel he is hitting close to home, and uncovering a certain insecurity within themselves. So the words sting.

Once you get past that charade of misogyny and chest-thumping, you can often find a person who has decent morals - even if he is somewhat abrasive. I just don't see what the uproar is about.

I read crap posted here quite often that I find appalling. "Upset" might be the wrong word, but I will go with it..

If you post in a public forum, you put your shit out there for the world to see and you take your lumps as they are dealt.

Are you saying that My words have upset you? Are you saying that others have? Are you saying that people are so weak and soft in their beliefs that a man with an anteater as an avatar can make them feel bad about themselves?

If that is true than they should probably get help of a more professional sort. Poor self esteem is the brains way of warning you.

I agree. Although some things he says makes me want to poke at him and I do. I think we both know the spirit in which it was delivered.

You really dont know Domi until you've met him in person. Hes actually one of the most intelligent people I have met and a really cool guy. But thats just my opinion and everyone knows I'm just a mindless nitwit!
