ORIGINAL: freedomdwarf1 FR~ Both the OH and I feel that taking/accepting money or 'gifts'/tributes for sexual favours in no different to prostitution. I don't care how the findommes argue the point - it's really no different. Even if you try to draw the very fine line between what is sexual and what is not (ie, physical sex, intimate touching etc), one or other of the parties are gaining some sort of sexual pleasure from such arrangements. To us, that's prostitution; plain and simple. I agree as well. And to those that use the, “Well, it’s between consenting adults” argument, I want to say that to me it isn’t much different than the contractor that convinces someone that they need to reroof their house even when it is not needed. Both parties might “agree”, but that doesn’t make it right. It is unscrupulous to take someone’s money or gifts, “just because you can”, even if they agree to it. Also, I see a big difference between managing or controlling someone’s finances, and taking someone’s finances. Perhaps there needs to be separate designations rather than to try to lump everything under the one heading of “findomme”.
