babysburnin -> Crazy First Sub Space (10/6/2006 10:27:23 PM)

I listened, imagined ... BUT it actually happened, for-the-first time.  I had no idea ... I was SO turned on, and my DOM said "welcome to sub space".  I was looking into His eyes - and ... OH ... he saw I was there ... I thought sub-space was some silly myth ...

I thought (1) sub-space was a place one went to tolerate pain, or (2) was a sexual high caused by pain.  Is it both?

diamonddreamlove -> RE: Crazy First Sub Space (10/6/2006 11:36:29 PM)

It is when i am so far gone i know not where i am.   Also known to me as heaven until i have to come back to earth.  Some times it is merely a glimpse and others i do and stay awhile or so i am told.  If asked what i said or did afterwards i could not tell you other than it is the most calming and wonderful place for me.

tangldupinblue -> RE: Crazy First Sub Space (10/6/2006 11:40:39 PM)

for me its my mind body soul and heart surrendering to the pain and pleasure all at once.....i actually see colors...lots of colors and i float with them.

Subspace is different for everyone, and one person can have many different experiences of "subspace."  It's not just one thing with just one set of results.

Subspace is an altered state of consciousness.  Anything else depends on the particular circumstances.  I can tell you that I have never gone into subspace from pain, and it's never a sexual high.

ownedgirlie -> RE: Crazy First Sub Space (10/7/2006 12:23:00 AM)

I don't recall ever going to subspace by pain.  If anything, pain has brought me out of it.  I typically go there from the intensity of the pleasure and energy zooming around in my body and mind. For me, it is a complete letting go of self, and then off I go....

Ok, your assignment now is to track down and apologise to all those you might have told were just imagining it.

Oh, and please pick up your secret handshake instructions at the door, welcome to the "Holy-Moly! Grail"!   <giggles>

Celeste43 -> RE: Crazy First Sub Space (10/7/2006 10:04:12 AM)

I don't float from pain, instead I'm much more likely to trance out from sensory deprivation. Full body bondage that is comfortable, blindfold and gag. If you put a blanket over me so I don't get cold I could stay for hours.

Daddysredhead -> RE: Crazy First Sub Space (10/7/2006 11:29:25 AM)

The first time Daddy and I played publicly, I was tied to a St. Andrew's cross for some time, getting flogged and pinwheeled, and other stuff, and after some time, the sensations were so intense... I went over the edge.  Daddy had to get me re-dressed, and help me to the aftercare area, where I apparently mumbled incoherently for a little while, then came back to the "real world."  Daddy was smiling and said, "welcome back."  It was sweet...   [:)]

It is the same for me. I love pain, but not because it takes me to subspace. I have NEVER gone to subspace from pain, and I never want to. In addition to this, pain does not give me a sexual high. All it does is make me more aware of how alive I am. It is nothing but a rush for me, much like sky-diving [:)]

liljoy -> RE: Crazy First Sub Space (10/8/2006 11:13:20 AM)

i can't relate to this. i wish i could. i didn't stop just short because i wanted more of the pain. i wanted it to stop. i did find a place where the pain was still there but it felt far different, like it was far away or something. He said i stopped reacting to the pain. The first time i don't know what it was but something He hit me with hurt so bad it brought me back The second time came fairly quickly compaired to the first time. i never felt floaty or was unaware of what was going on. He put 3 staples in my butt and i felt them and knew what He had done. i don't know if i could have talked or not because i didn't try

Ahhh, sub space.  For me, it can be there all of the time, when i'm not worried about what others think who are not bdsm.  For it is simply the act of controlling my reality with my imagination.  i know that i exist only to serve; therefore, my universe presents opportunities for service, learning, and discipline.  it's when i am co-dependent and hung up on Image (wanting the approval of others besides my Mistress) that my sub space vanishes.  whether i belong to a Mistress or not, i am always a sub.

There is a difference between subspace and sub headspace..

I think what you are describing is sub headspace.

juliaoceania -> RE: Crazy First Sub Space (10/10/2006 10:58:48 PM)

I have not read the other replies

It is really both. Your body sends out a chemical soup into your brain so that you do not perceive pain the same way. For some this ends up being the high we call subspace. For me it is definitely the high and not the escape.

Edited to say pain is not the only way to get there, the deepest subspace I have ever experienced came from a mindfuck and not pain at all

littleone35 -> RE: Crazy First Sub Space (10/11/2006 9:20:42 AM)

Pain does not get me there i do not like pain..  I get into to subspace by the intense pleasur Master gives me.  I have heard of getting through pain to pleasure but to me pan just hurts.

Wow.. didnt realise it was so profound, sounds like you get into a trance. Anyone have experience with such meditation and has compared the two?

akahadaka -> RE: Crazy First Sub Space (6/2/2008 7:48:46 AM)

First of all, sorry to revive this old thread but I though more convenient to do it this way instead to open a new thread to talk about subspace.

I never went to subspace, but last Saturday in the middle of a session I was talking to Master asking for more and I was incredibly aroused... last thing I can remember is my question to Master and I don't remember more... only a intense wellness and total relaxation, some kind of state between dreams and stay awake.

I don't know how many minutes passed but later I remember that I slightly listened the voice of my Master asking me to raise up my right hand, just checking if I was ok. The curious thing is I was trying to raise up my hand but my body seemed lazy. It costs a lot to move any part of my body, to obey my brain.
(seems that Master also checked my pulse and breathing. All OK)

Later my Master told me I was staying in that state nearly 30 minutes, and that I was into subspace. He order me to post here my feelings as a way to manage the new experience myself in despite He is always with me, explaining, caring, taking the fear apart...

I know is innocent from me to ask about it, but these are my first sessions and I don't know how to deal with the new sensation... That was subspace? It is common to listen other people like in a dream but not be almost capable to move a muscle consciously? Any similar experiences?

Thanks in advance for your attention

MasterFireMaam -> RE: Crazy First Sub Space (6/2/2008 9:11:46 AM)

Both, one or neither. It differs from person to person AND experience to experience. There are many, many ways of getting to non-ordinary reality.

kiwisub12 -> RE: Crazy First Sub Space (6/2/2008 4:36:38 PM)

Thuddy pain takes me to subspace. There, i am aware of what is going on around me, but it doesn't register.  I could respond to my Sir but typically would rather just lie there and relax. It takes about 30 minutes to wear off - or for me to rouse.  Lovely feeling.

Sorry to answer myself but I have news. Master told me today that I was smiling when I was in that "state" and even laughing a bit. We are a little afraid so we both never experienced with subspace before. We suspect that my reaction was normal, I mean, "normal" when we talk about subspace (I've read carefully a lot of threads about it and I know that each person lives it differently) but we are not sure if we are doing things well, in terms of future physical or mental damage.

I'll greatly appreciate your oppinion and points of view.
