As far a websites I LOVE  castlerealm.com I think it's an amazing website. With great information. I also enjoyed the book Screw the roses send me thorns by Phillip Miller and Molly Devon.

I tend to agree with Casie, but I'm thinking that I learned most by actually just watching discussions in forums (such as these), viewing stories on various sites, and by actually visiting a local lifestyle party.  Find a trusted Dominant and take their advice to your head (NOT YOUR HEART).

I sincerely agree with LA about not getting involved for at least six good months.  See what's out there, get your feet wet, just don't dive head-first.  Be leery of the wannabe's....there are WAY too many wonderful Dominants that are the real deal.  In my experience, Female Dominants share a lot more information and consideration for a newbie.  I'd totally recommend all the ones that I've met/seen first and foremost (sorry fellas).

And read all of these.

Very clever, LA. It will take her six months to read all of the homework you gave her.
You're good. Oh, yes. You're good.

Near your small town is another small town and probably a city or a larger town,  I would bet dollars to donuts if you look hard enough there is a group, munch, few people who are into this lifestyle and meet or at least talk.
