If any subs out that can point me in the right direction as to where i need to start to explore this lifestyle i would appreciate it. im not sure what to do and where is a good place to start. any advice will be appreciated. thanks

Don't make a commitment to anyone for at least 6 months.

Pull yourself together, this isn't an emergency. If you were a mature stable capable responsible adult before, there's no reason to forget all that now.

LA has given you great advice and a number of valuable links. I recommend highly, listening to the advice and reading the links as well as checking out the books at Greenery Press as they have a lot of nonfiction books on s&m, dominance, submission, etc.

Some of those good books are:

Get involved in local groups, attend demos, events and munches. Take what resonates/works for you and discard what doesn't. Discover where you fit, what you want and need and don't let people pressure you into anything you aren't ready for or don't want.
